Russia Ukraine War Latest News: Russian Authorities Arrest 60 in Moscow Over Anti Putin Protests; Zelensky Says Trump Wants Trilateral Summit by End of October

Russia Ukraine War Latest News: Cops in the Russian capital of Moscow recently took some protestors who allegedly chanted anti Kremlin slogans. Meanwhile Ukrainian President  Volodymyr Zelensky has shared that Donald Trump is interested in holding a summit later this month.    

Russia Ukraine War Latest News: Russian Authorities Arrest 60 in Moscow Over Anti Putin Protests 

According to the Russian human rights group  OVD-Info , Moscow police arrested nearly 6o people after they started chanting anti regime slogans. Some of the protestors  slogans included “Freedom for political prisoners”, “For fair elections” and “Down with the Tsar”. 

According to OVD-Info, protesters also chanted “No to political repression”, “Down with Roskomnadzor” and “Down with the party of crooks and thieves”. While local authorities approved the protest, they cracked down once the protestors made an increasing amount of chants against President Vladimir Putin. The protestors included 26 Communist Party participants, 30 members of the liberal Yabloko party  and others.
