Kathmandu, Oct 11: The Hindu Nepalis have sown the seeds for growing jamara, holy seedlings, at Dashainghar or puja chamber of their homes at the auspicious hour of 11:47am today.     

The seeds were sown by following traditional ritual and conducting worship on Ghatasthapana, the first day of the Badadashain festival.     

The Nepal Calendar Determination Committee had shared information about the auspicious hour for sowing seeds for jamara.
