NAWALPUR: Six people were killed and 10 others injured when a passenger bus met with an accident in Daunne of Binayi Triveni–2, Nawalpur, on Saturday morning.

According to the District Police Office, Nawalpur, the bus (Pradesh 3-01-006 Kha 1553), heading to Kathmandu from Nepalgunj, overturned into a roadside drain after the driver lost control on a downhill stretch.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Anil Pandit, Information Officer at the District Police Office, stated that five of the deceased have been identified.
