KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Paudel has, on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers, prorogued the current session of both houses of the Federal Parliament effective from the midnight today.

The President has prorogued the current session of both houses of the Federal Parliament in accordance with Article 93, Sub-Article 2 of the Constitution of Nepal and on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers on September 29, it is stated in a communiqué issued today by Spokesperson at the Office of the President, Krishna Bahadur Shahi.
