The ₹5 crore allegation was made by Falahari Maharaj, president of the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Sangharsh Nyas, in a letter concerning Premanand Maharaj’s ashram.

According to reports, Falahari Maharaj alleged that people connected with a private company in Rajasthan had offered or spent ₹5 crore to bring Virat Kohli to the ashram as part of an effort to increase Premanand Maharaj’s popularity.

However, there is an important distinction between the allegation and a confirmed payment.

There is currently no independently verified evidence that Virat Kohli personally received ₹5 crore for visiting Premanand Maharaj.
