Gandaki registers second consecutive win over Bhutan in practice match

KASKI: Host team Gandaki Province defeated the visiting Bhutan national cricket team for the second consecutive time in a practice match on Wednesday.

In the match played at the Pokhara Stadium cricket ground, Gandaki Province secured a 64-run victory over Bhutan. Gandaki had also defeated Bhutan in the first match on Tuesday.

After winning the toss and opting to bowl first, Bhutan fielded while Gandaki Province posted 196 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their allotted 20 overs.

Chasing a target of 197 runs for victory, the Bhutanese side was bowled out for 132 runs in 17.4 overs.

For Gandaki Province, Karan Pangeni scored 45 runs off 27 balls, including one four and five sixes. Similarly, Sibrin Shrestha contributed 45 runs off 24 balls, hitting one four and five sixes.
