Housing will be ensured to every citizen: PM Shah

Kathmandu, Oct 3: Prime Minister Balendra Shah has said that the right to housing will be ensured for every citizen.     

Taking to his social media account this morning, he has mentioned that the Bill relating to 'Building Act, 2083' has been registered in the Federal Parliament Secretariat with the aim of ensuring the right to housing of every citizen.     

He said that the bill, which was registered on Friday, proposes a system to ensure housing for low-income families and to ensure safe housing for middle-income families. Prime Minister Shah mentioned that in the registered bill, it is proposed to provide free river-born and forest materials to Nepali citizens who are building houses for the first time according to the patterns and standards set by the government.
