The Jailer 2 trailer is finally here and Rajinikanth’s return as Tiger Muthuvel Pandian has immediately set social media buzzing. Released on October 5, the trailer promises a bigger world, heavier action, more familiar faces and the same mix of Nelson Dilipkumar’s dark comedy and larger than life Rajinikanth moments that made the first Jailer such a crowd pleaser.

The sequel once again brings together Rajinikanth, Nelson and music composer Anirudh Ravichander, while expanding the franchise with several big names. Mohanlal and Shivarajkumar return from the first film, while S J Suryah, Vidya Balan, Jackie Shroff, Mithun Chakraborty and Suraj Venjaramoodu are among the new additions. And within minutes of the trailer dropping, fans had plenty to say.
