Minister Chaudhary calls for promoting use of bio fertlisers

RUPANDEHI: Minister for Agriculture, Forest and Environment, Gita Chaudhary, has stressed the need to promote use of bio and organic fertilizers for the protection of soil fertility and increase in agricultural production.

Addressing the Lumbini- province level orientation relating to the subsidized fertiliser information system here Friday, the Minister warned that excessive use of chemical fertilisers erodes the soil quality. She added that agricultural policies and programmes will be implemented, prioritising the enhancement of soil quality.
