Nancy Guthrie Case Latest Update Today: The case of Nancy Guthrie, an 84-year-old woman from Arizona, whose daughter is the co-anchor on NBC’s Today show, has still not been solved eight months since her disappearance.
The recent news regarding a new Pima County jail booking of a 37-year-old man named Luke Daley seems to have sparked up the interest in the case once again even though there are no connections found yet between the booking and the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie. She was last seen at her home in Catalina Foothills on 31 January, reported missing on 1 February.
Nancy Guthrie Case Update: Luke Daley Was Previously Questioned by Investigators
Daley made headlines in February when he was arrested in an arrest conducted by the police in Tucson, which took place on 13 February. His car was seized by the investigators along with a search of his home. They were both subsequently released, however, with no additional charges against them as a result of this arrest. During an interview for Arizona’s Family in March, Daley declared himself to be innocent of Nancy’s disappearance. He also rejected comparisons between his appearance and the masked individual captured in surveillance footage outside her home.

Most significantly, there has been no confirmation from the authorities regarding Daley being a suspect in Nancy’s case.
Nancy Guthrie Case Update: FBI Surveillance Footage and Ransom Messages
The FBI had earlier revealed video footage of an armed man in a mask near the door of Nancy. It seems like he was tampering with the doorbell camera, hence prompting the authorities to request the public for help in identifying the individual.
Authorities have also looked into the ransom notes that were supposedly sent. In July, the authorities disclosed two messages which were originally sent in February in hopes that the public would see something familiar which could provide some clues.
