KATHMANDU: The Nepali national cricket team, preparing for the ICC World Cup League 2, won its practice match against Oman ‘A’ by two wickets on Wednesday.

In its first practice match played at the Oman Cricket Academy Turf-2, Oman ‘A’, initially posted a target of 161 runs for Nepal.

However, the Nepali team decided to increase the challenge, as it was a practice match and revised the challenge for 240 runs. It successfully chased down this target of 240 runs in 48.2 overs at the loss of eight wickets.
