Nepal’s cricket community has joined a growing wave of support for communities affected by the devastating floods and landslides in Rasuwa and along the Bhote Koshi–Trishuli river corridor.
National team players Dipendra Singh Airee and Sandeep Lamichhane have used social media to urge people to remain alert and prioritise their safety as the disaster continues to affect multiple areas.
Airee made a particular appeal to people living around the Trishuli River, warning those close to the riverbanks to remain vigilant and move to safer locations if necessary. He also called for unity during the crisis.
Lamichhane separately urged people to exercise caution as authorities continued rescue and relief operations in flood-affected areas.
The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has also joined the safety campaign, asking the public to follow official instructions and avoid spreading unverified information during the emergency.
