The State government on Monday issued orders for setting up police commissionerates in Tirupati, Guntur, Kurnool and Rajamahendravaram. The Home Department said the four new commissionerates would be headed by officers of the rank of Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) or Inspector General of Police (IGP).
