The death toll linked to the devastating floods in Rasuwa and surrounding areas has risen to 626, according to the latest figures released by Nepal Police on Saturday afternoon.
The police update, issued at 2:50 pm, shows that bodies have been recovered from several districts affected by flooding and the subsequent destruction along river corridors.
The highest number of recovered bodies has been reported in Chitwan, followed by Nawalparasi East and other affected districts.
