Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Monday launched a series of development works worth ₹183.78 crore in the Varuna Assembly constituency.

While completed works worth ₹40.40 crore were inaugurated, foundation stones were laid for 134 new projects estimated to cost ₹143.38 crore at a function organised at Dasanur village in Nanjangud taluk.

The Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Residential School for Girls, constructed at a cost of ₹22.50 crore at Dasanur, was among the projects inaugurated on the occasion.
