Strictly Come Dancing 2026 has its first eliminated celebrity. Chris Appleton and his professional partner Amy Dowden were sent home after losing the first dance-off of the series, while Delta Goodrem finished Movie Week at the top of the combined leaderboard. The results came after all 15 couples took part in Movie Week, meaning every celebrity got the chance to perform a themed routine before the first elimination.

Chris and Amy found themselves in the bottom two alongside Jaime Winstone and Carlos Gu. The two couples had to perform again in the dance-off, with the judges ultimately choosing to save Jaime and Carlos.

Who Was Eliminated From Strictly Come Dancing 2026?

Chris Appleton and Amy Dowden were the first couple eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing 2026. The celebrity hairstylist and professional dancer performed their Cha Cha to “I’ll Be Ready” from Baywatch in the dance-off. They were up against Jaime Winstone and Carlos Gu, who performed their Cha Cha to “Oh, Pretty Woman” from Pretty Woman.
