KATHMANDU: Chief Election Commissioner Man Bahadur Karki has issued an order to keep on record a letter submitted by the faction of former Nepali Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba.
The Deuba faction had informed the Election Commission on Wednesday that it had begun activities related to the party’s 15th General Convention.
In the letter, Deuba stated that he was the president of the Nepali Congress.
The Deuba faction began its ward-level conventions on Thursday as part of the general convention process.
