Google has launched the Fitbit Air in India, bringing its screen-free approach to fitness tracking to the market. Unlike conventional smartwatches, the wearable does not feature a display or on-device notifications. Instead, users can view their health and fitness data through the Google Health app on a connected smartphone.

The Fitbit Air was first introduced globally in May 2026. In India, it is priced at Rs 13,999 and comes with a three-month trial of Google Health Premium, giving users access to the Gemini-powered Google Health Coach.

What is the Fitbit Air?

The Fitbit Air is designed as a lightweight fitness tracker that focuses on collecting health and activity data rather than functioning like a traditional smartwatch. There is no screen, app interface or notification system on the device. This means users have to use their smartphone to check detailed information collected by the tracker.
