BY LALIT BASEL, Surkhet, Oct. 6: A meeting of the Main Organising Committee for the 10th National Games—scheduled to be held in Surkhet, Karnali Province, from December 2 to 13—took place in Surkhet on Sunday.

Organised by the National Sports Council and held at the Karnali Province Sports Development Committee office within the Karnali Province Stadium, the meeting was attended by the Minister for Education and Sports, Sasmit Pokhrel, and resulted in the passing of four proposals.

Announcing the decisions at a press conference following the meeting, Monalisa Khumbu, coordinator of the publicity sub-committee, stated that the committee decided to express gratitude to the government for the decision made on September 7 to host the 10th edition of the National Games in Karnali Province (including Surkhet and other districts).

They also pledged their commitment to ensuring the grand success of the games, which are scheduled to take place within the designated timeframe.
