US Israel Iran War Latest News: Three people lost their lives while 36 others were injured in attacks that were made on two airports in Saudi Arabia, says Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA). The attacks that targeted Abha International Airport and King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh have been attributed to the Houthi movement, which is allied to Iran, of Yemen.
The attacks occurred on October 6 and October 7, respectively, say Saudi authorities. The attack was in the context of increasing tension between the Houthi rebels and the forces of the Yemeni government, backed by Saudi Arabia.

Both of these airports have been claimed to be targeted by the Houthis. According to the spokesperson for Houthi forces, Yahya Saree, the Houthis used drones in the operation against King Khalid International Airport, and both drones and ballistic missiles in the attack on Abha airport.
