It has been reported that Bollywood celebrity couple Yami Gautam and filmmaker Aditya Dhar have decided to relocate from the bustling city of Mumbai to the quieter state of Himachal Pradesh owing to their love for privacy. According to the reports, the couple would travel back and forth between Himachal Pradesh and Mumbai for their official obligations. This indicates their desire to maintain some level of privacy and peace in their lives when not involved in filmmaking or related events.

Himachal Pradesh has not been merely a vacation place for Yami Gautam. Even before marriage, the actress had purchased a heritage property that dates back to a hundred years, covering twenty-five acres in Gohar, Mandi, which holds much significance for the actress’s family. In fact, the property took on an even greater significance when Yami got married to Aditya Dhar in a small-scale wedding ceremony there in June 2021. Constructed using traditional materials such as wood and stones, the property has a number of gardens with apple, plum, potato and ginger plantations.
